Good to know

Outputs the phpass "portable" format ($P$B…) that every WordPress version accepts — 8,192 salted MD5 rounds.
Perfect for resetting a locked-out admin: replace the user's user_pass value in phpMyAdmin and log in with your password.
Modern WordPress (6.8+) re-hashes the password with bcrypt automatically on your first login.
Your password is never stored or logged — it's only used in memory to compute the hash.
